We take care of most acute care conditions. We treat patients ages 1 and above.Acute Care is the area of Medicine that involves the care of conditions that appear in a short period of time and require care within 24-28 hours after they started. This include patients with fever, respiratory problems, sore throats, ear aches, chest pains, skin rashes, joint pains, muscle aches, back aches, Vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain,​ urinary tract infections, and much more. Acute care also includes the evaluation and treatment of minor traumas where the patient is able to ambulate by him/herself such as falls  lacerations in need of stitches, 

 

We treat COVID19 and SARS CO2 patients

 

Dr. Ensling has 12 years of experience in Acute care/Urgent care where she has taken care of children as well as adult patients. And 15 years of expecience in Hospital care including 5 years as a assistant professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Missouri, Columbia

What  can we treat ?

Although our goal is to provide with short stay admissions, and basic surgical procedures to our members in the near future; we are still in the preliminary stages therefore, at this time:  

We do not treat Emergencies including:

 

1)  Patients who have lost consciousness   

2)  Patients who have  suffered a severe trauma

 

3) Patients with chest pain who might be having a heart attack as per age range and baseline conditions

 

4) Patients who are unable to breathe

 

5) Patients who might need emergent Surgery ( ex severe, unexplainied abdominal pain, uncontrollable nausea and vomiting )

 

6) Patients who are pregnant except for minor problems.

 

7) Pregnant patients who are in labor
